The Bores: A Font That Adds Personality to Your Brand

When I Needed a Font That Spoke to My Bakery’s Soul

A few months ago, I was in the middle of redesigning my bakery’s packaging. The old labels felt generic, and I wanted something that would make my brand stand out on the shelves. I needed a font that wasn’t too plain but still readable, something that could add a touch of character without overwhelming the design. That’s when I discovered The Bores.

What Is The Bores?

This font falls under the Display category, which means it’s designed for attention-grabbing headlines and visual impact. While it might not be ideal for long blocks of text, The Bores shines in short phrases, logos, and branding elements where personality and style are key.

Typography Tips for Using The Bores Effectively

• Use it for headlines and short phrases: The Bores excels in display text, making it perfect for titles, taglines, and promotional copy.
• Pair it with a clean sans serif font: For better readability, balance The Bores with a simple, modern font for body text or supporting details.
• Test it on different sizes: Make sure the font remains legible on small labels, mobile screens, and printed materials.
• Check for file formats and licensing: Ensure the font includes all necessary styles, weights, and formats for your intended use.
