Brush Season: A Font That Brings Summer to Every Project

The Perfect Match for Handmade Labels and Seasonal Designs

There’s something about the first warm breeze of spring that makes me reach for my craft supplies. This year, I decided to create a set of farmhouse-style candle labels with a fresh, summery feel. I needed a font that would capture the carefree spirit of summer without being too busy or overwhelming. That’s when I discovered Brush Season. It’s not just any display font—it’s a typeface that feels like a conversation with the sun, light, and the gentle rhythm of a summer day.

What Makes Brush Season Special?

Brush Season is a neat and casual display font that radiates fun and relaxation. Its clean lines and easygoing vibe make it perfect for seasonal projects, especially those with a relaxed, handmade aesthetic. The font has a subtle handwritten quality that still maintains clarity and readability, which is essential for product labels, packaging, and digital printables.

Font Pairing Ideas

• Modern Typography: Pair with a clean sans serif like Montserrat or Lato for a contemporary look.
• Handwritten Feel: Combine with a script font like Great Vibes or Pacifico for a more personal, artistic touch.
• Minimalist Design: Use a simple serif like Cinzel or Playfair Display to complement its casual charm.
• Playful Branding: Add a bold display font like Bebas Neue for contrast and impact.
